ArtsTwist Find It Apps

Children go on an exciting journey through the world of art!

Our Apps include works from leading museums such as Getty, National Gallery of Art in Washington and Rijksmuseum, and include masters such as Degas, Vermeer, Constable, Klee, Manet, Renoir, Rembrandt; regions such as Europe, Japan, India; styles such as Impressionism.

Searching for hidden details require children to look at art in a new way - very close! Art will never look the same again!

The games will inspire the children of all ages, whether playing the game on their own or with their parents.  They are suitable even for young children who are not confident readers as the questions are read out to you - all you need to do is look carefully and click on the detail once found. There is also an option to read the questions alone and play it without any sound.

All ArtsTwist Find It apps offer no in-app purchases,  display no adds, and will not connect to any social media sites. They are self contained and do not require internet connection to run, making them a very safe environment for children to explore.

How the apps were born

My children grew up in London and were frequent visitors to Tate Britain, Tate Modern, National Art Gallery, and more. Although they did enjoy these visits and have learned to appreciate art, there were times that their patience was limited and we had to hurry through a lovely exhibition because they had had enough. My apps were born out of the idea that if they could be entertained while at the museum with something to do with the paintings they are looking at - we all would have a nicer time.  Or, even better - to let them play a game related to the paintings they are about to see so that they will be more interested in the actual visit.
